Where is WOMADelaide? | WOMADelaide is held in close proximity to the Adelaide CBD in the beautiful Botanic Park / Tainmuntilla. Entry to the festival is via the gates on Frome Road and Hackney Road.

Who’s on the lineup and when are they playing? | As the lineup is announced it will be viewable on our lineup pages. Playing times are usually finalised and added two months prior to the festival.

How do I get there? | Cycling: Bike parking will be monitored by security during the following times, please note there is no overnight monitoring: FRIDAY 3.30pm to 1am SATURDAY 10.30am to 1am SUNDAY 10.30am to 1am MONDAY 10.30am to midnight The bike parking is no longer within the festival site for a range of operational reasons including removing the problem of obstruction / congestion caused by patrons with bicycles moving through the entrances – bag check & ticket scanning. Parking: Or secure your WOMADelaide parking with UPark. Pre-book for night and weekend parking at UPark Rundle and UPark Frome. Convenient and affordable parking that’s open 24 hours and just a short walk to Botanic Park. Bus: All other Adelaide Metro tram timetables can be found HERE. |
Can I smoke? | In keeping with the South Australian Government health regulations, WOMADelaide is a smoke-free event. Festival goers wishing to smoke will be able to do so in designated smoking areas marked on the festival map or listed in the APP. |
What should I do if I suffer from Asthma? | At times Botanic Park / Tainmuntilla can become dusty. Anyone who suffers from asthma should bring the specific medication they need and make note of the location of nearest first aid tent in case they do need any assistance. |
Is there camping at WOMADelaide? | There is strictly no camping on site at WOMADelaide as the venue is part of the Botanic Gardens of Adelaide. |

Can kids come? | We have an entire area dedicated to our little humans! A world of fun awaits in the KidZone with daily activities programmed specially for kids. Immersive activities, science discoveries, story telling, dress-ups, face painting and much more. KidZone is much more than just a place to keep the kids happy. |

Is there a Parents Room? | Parents with babies and toddlers can enjoy a shaded, comfortable and discrete Parenting Room. Nursing parents at WOMADelaide have access to feeding chairs, baby changing and bottle heading facilities. |
Children's Safety | All children must be wristbanded prior to entering the Festival. Please add children to your cart when purchasing. Write the responsible adult's mobile number clearly on the wristband. Parents or guardians should arrange with children to meet at the Info Booth if they get separated. |
Lost Children/Missing Persons | WOMADelaide follows a strict lost child/missing persons procedure. All lost children/persons are taken to the Info Booth. |
Lost Property | Lost property will be taken to the Info Booth on site. If you have lost anything please check here first. Opening Hours of the Kingspark Salvos Store are: Mon Tues Wed Fri: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM |
Cashless | We are cashless. |
Seating at WOMADelaide | If you wish to bring a chair, only low-standing, beach-style chairs will be permitted. Only low ‘beach chairs’ are allowed on site and are to be used at the outer edges of the playing arenas. Standard height chairs will be confiscated at the gates. Unless a pre-approved exemption has been authorised. We ask those who want to remain seated for a performance to sit at the outer edges and rear of the audience areas. For selected ‘seated’ performances, the audience will be asked by the stage MC to sit down and in these cases, those who want to stand or dance will be asked to move to the outer edges and rear of the audience area. Please also be aware that "staking" out a spot in front of a stage with chairs, rugs or blankets for any performance not designated as a "seated performance" is prohibited as these items can create safety and trip hazard concerns as large crowds can unpredictably converge toward the stages. |

Can I come in and out? | Yes, pass-outs are available. However, you must make sure you scan OUT if you want to return to the festival and scan IN again on the same day. |
Bag Check-In | Bag Check-Ins are located at both the Frome Road and Hackney Road main entrances. A Tap ‘n’ Go donation is required to use the bag check-in, with all proceeds donated to the WOMADelaide Foundation. The bag check-in will close at 12am nightly. All items are left at your own risk. WOMADelaide takes no responsibility for items left behind.

Can I leave my picnic rugs or blankets in the park overnight? | No, as a requirement of our agreement for the use of Botanic Park / Tainmuntilla across the 4 days and as courtesy to your fellow festivalgoers, we ask you take your belongings with you each night. Any possessions left unattended overnight will necessarily need to be removed and subsequently donated directly to local charities. |
