Held on the traditional lands of the Kaurna People, WOMADelaide – the World Of Music Arts & Dance in Adelaide – is an iconic open air festival celebrating cultural discovery in the city's stunning Botanic Park/Tainmuntilla.
The World's Festival since 1992, WOMADelaide is a unique part of Australia's festival landscape, showcasing the best, the essential and the surprising – in music, arts, dance, food and ideas from around the world.
For the past 33 years, thousands of music lovers come together across four days to listen, dance and discover, creating a much-loved sense of community.

WOMADelaide reaches new sustainability milestone
WOMADelaide has announced that in 2026 all stages will be powered using 100% renewable energy – setting a new benchmark and becoming South Australia’s first festival to power the majority of its event with renewables.
"It's brilliant to have an audience that cares so much about what WOMAD is, could be, and stands for. In a world in which many bad actors seem to be achieving power by fanning the flames of hatred, racism and division, a meeting place for all the world’s cultures and dreams, built on mutual respect, seems all the more precious."
